Workshop

CREATE. CONNECT. CHANGE.

The workshop has a limited number of 16 participants and 6 observers. The participants are coming from Anadolu University Eskisehir, Selcuk University Konya, Erciyes University Kayseri, Ankara University, Hacetepe University, Middle East Technical University and Bilkent University. The workshop is part of the MFA program in Media and Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture in Bilkent.

Workshop participants will develop 4 independent Transmedia projects to be presented to public on the last day of the workshop.

 

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16TH  (BILKENT MAIN CAMPUS)

12:30-13:00        Presentation of the Design Question (*), Group building

(*) Design an engaging media experience for a target group of your choice. The experience should focus on the actual media usage habits of your target group while simultaneously incorporating thrilling innovative technologies and/or applications.

14:00-15:30        Target group focusing and online research; Preparation of field day

15:30-16:30        Personae building (typical profiles of people whom the experience is for)

16:30-17:00        First ideation: Definition of the proposed media experience (logline)

17:00-18:00        Intermediary presentation, discussion, feedback round
